The organization started its activities in 1986. |

Voice recording studios were established in 1987 as the first ever private studios in the Sultanate. |

The T.V filming and production studios were established in 1991 as the first private T.V studios in the Sultanate. This contains a filming area of 200 sq. m. (adequate for building a 3-room house four filming purposes). Most of the dramatic scenes of the T.V programme “Al Siha wal Mujtamaa” and the religious programe “Dunia wa Deen”, arabic for life and religion were shot in these studios which also include: |

Two units for electronic editing and an outside broadcast van (O.B.Van) equipped with 4 BETACAM S.P cameras and a special editing unit in addition to a well-equipped boat for sea filming. |

One crane unit with 8 technicians and a wheel-dolly unit with 4 technicians along with camera tripods (rig1 + rig2) and all other necessary requirements of photography, lighting and sound systems. |

Photographing crew made up of 2 photographers, 2 monitors, 2 technicians for lighting and sound and 12 others for the crane and dolly units. |

All this is backed by a vast experience in the field of production, marketing and public relations. |

We are currently building an integrated T.V complex comprising T.V and acoustic rooms with all essential utilities for the artists, the technicians and production services. |

In 2003 a digital shooting unit was inaugurated and in 2006 a digital TV studios complex was established as the first and the biggest ever in the Sultanate of Oman. |

Halley started its operations first with the broadcasting and sound production through sound studios and then moved into TV production through the modern digital TV studios in Ghala, Busher. A qualified professional crew made up of cameramen, lightning and sound engineers and technician execute all Halley’s operations.

The organization produces and shoots TV films, drama serials, documentary films, recorded films, advertisements, various TV programs and full medium coverage for conferences and national occasions. It also do sound, music and broadcasting records and it rents its studios, outside shooting units and equipment to many government institutions and advertisement and production companies from outside and inside the Sultanate.

Halley has done a big collection of T.V production: (6) series, (2) TV films, (4) TV programs, (18) video clips. For the government institutions: (145) guiding advertisements, (65) documentary films, (20) medium coverage for conferences and national occasions, (6) national songs and (2) drama serial and (3) TV programs. For private companies: (886) commercial advertisements, (21) documentary films and a big collection of musical and broadcasting activities.

Halley has gained a verity of prizes and appreciation certificates in its participations at many international festival competitions (7 prizes in different TV production fields).
